Foundation Repair & Waterproofing in Southwest MO and Northwest AR

These guys are great. A different company, which I shall not name, gave me quote of over 3K to fix an issue with water seeping into my storm room. Smouse Bros came out and concluded I need to extend the downspout from my gutter system about 20 feet and remove the dirt a previous company had piled against the back wall of the garage in which the storm room is located. He told me he's 95% sure this will solve the issue. So, I'm off to Lowes to pick up an extension for my downspout. I'll remove the dirt in the morning before the predicted rain and hope for the best. I think he is right. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything very clearly and made no attempt to sell me on an expensive job. The visit was free. No charge. A refreshing change from the fast willies out there.

We had Smouse Brothers out today to work on raising our driveway three inches. William was very professional; he explained the work process and answered all of our questions thoroughly. We would highly recommend William and Smouse Brothers to our neighbors for driveway or foundation repair. We had four estimates for this work and an extra plus is they were the most reasonably priced.

The crew, Cody and Eric, showed up on time and jumped right in.
They worked non stop for 2 1/2 days and done a fantastic job encapsulating the crawlspace and installing a dehumidifier.
They both were very friendly and communicated well about the job.
Tough work, but they tackled it with a passion and were proud of their work, which was well deserved.

If I could give these guys more stars I would! About a year ago I scheduled my appointment with Jess due to some concerns with my foundation. When Jess arrived and inspected underneath my house he brought back up with him some great detailed pictures and explained the problems he found. Not only did he explain what he found but he also went into more detail of how and why these problems come up. He was quick to provide me with an honest and fair estimate of the repairs and very detailed in explaining the process. His team showed up on the scheduled date and delivered quality work as promised.
Fast forward one year later...I scheduled a follow up inspection to make sure the foundation was still good, check on the sump pump and the dehumidifier. Matt arrived today and was very friendly and asked right off the bat if I had any concerns or anything in particular I needed him to look at. I had some concerns with a little water that was under the house that I wasn't sure where it was coming from. Matt got under the house and went through all of the equipment to ensure it was all working properly and discovered a loose clamp on the sump pump that was likely causing the little bit of water. Now, the sump pump was not installed by Smouse Bros...so no fault to them. He showed me pictures, explained what he did and I couldn't be happier with the service I have received from this company. I would recommend them a thousand times over to anyone looking for a good HONEST company that does excellent work and they stand behind everything they do. Great people all around.
